Fraud and Follow-Up
Pyr-Tech is equipped to assist you with all of your investigation needs, from the time you are assigned a case until the case is closed. Fraud and follow-up investigations are conducted by Investigator Dave Lauer. Investigator Lauer has experience in law enforcement, as well as the insurance industry. He has the ability to help find any useful information pertaining to issues surrounding an investigation.
Investigator Lauer has extensive experience in conducting interviews and is familiar with doing background checks, research of court documents and reviewing financial records.
Mr. David L. Lauer Investigator
Investigator Lauer, a Southern Illinois native, has worked at Pyr-Tech for over twelve years. Lauer conducts investigations for insurance related losses that include fire, theft, burglary, personal injury and auto/truck/trailer theft on a part-time basis. He has had careers as a Illinois State Police Officer, U.S. Federal Courthouse Security Officer and Regional Special Investigation Unit Manager at a large insurance company.
Investigator Lauer's experience has
warranted such awards as a 1982 Certificate of Commendation for
investigations conducted for the Illinois State Police in regards to
pharmacies false billing the Illinois Department of Public Aid and a
1992 Golden Key Award from the Southern Illinois Arson Association.
